Balena is one of the few emerging military corporations on Nippon. Like Zio Matrix and Emeraude, it is a Second-Generation organization that succeeded the original corporate groups from the Subterranean Era.
History[]
Balena is not as well-established as Zio Matrix or Emeraude, but they still command a somewhat sizeable amount of military power that allows them to compete and hold their own in conflict with the other two corporations.
Balena followed Zio Matrix and Emeraude to the surface of Nippon in hopes of establishing themselves on a more equal footing than they had while just forming underground. However, Balena's administrative Division was unwilling to give their military expedition the same level of resources as their corporate rivals, resulting in Balena having much less power on the field than they did on the corporate table.

Balena, while having a sufficiently powerful military force to compete with Zio Matrix and Emeraude, is still far from the strength of either corporation. They are often overlooked during discussions on the corporations, with Zio Matrix and Emeraude being more noticeable. To compensate, Balena often tries to hire high-quality Ravens for their operations.
