History[]
Andrea was born on the Outer colony of Cleyell. She volunteered to join the UNSC Marines at the age of 19 serving primarily in the Inner Colonies. Her early service was unremarkable but she saw significant action after the Covenant Empire crept past the shattered Outer Colonies. She took part in the brutal siege on Meridian for over two years, aiding in the defense of the vital industrial colony before finally being relieved by newly arrived forces. Andrea was extended an offer to volunteer to become an ODST to which she accepted and undertook the harsh training at Reach for several months, graduating and returning to frontline service afterwards. Andrea's made her first combat drop during the successful defense of Concord where UNSC forces repelled the Covenant.
In the last year of the war she dropped onto Sigma Octanus IV, managing to survive with the small complement of defenders sent planetside. Following that she was sent to Tribute to help in evacuation of the civilian populace. Although successful in this, she and many of the UNSC defenders on Tribute were stranded for months as all UNSC Navy ships had been recalled to Reach and subsequently annihilated during its fall. She survived the partial glassing of the planet and through to November when the defenders were witness to the Great Schism as Covenant forces turned on one another which spared the remaining forces on the planet. She was not evacuated until January of 2553 to Earth after the war concluded.
Post-war and Leonard[]
After two months of rehabilitaion, Andrea was assigned as part of the UNSC Ariane's ODST contingent.
Death[]
On her last mission Andrea was assigned to the UNSC Frigate Karakul which deployed to a backwater planet, Aleria. A arms deal between Covenant Remnant and the desperate locals would occur so her squad was to stop it. Once dropped in their SOEIV's her pod was hit by unknowns and partially broke apart. Her body was found some time later, and her death was blamed on the Covenant. The Karakul's doctor noted burns inconsistent of those caused by plasma weaponry, a cocktail of toxins in her system and severe trauma.
Appearance[]
Andrea had cropped black hair and green eyes. She had minor scars across her body from a spike grenade explosion from her time on Tribute. She donned a standard set of ODST armor.
